What are the charges involved?
You will have gathered that we have a number of exhibition titles for hire; we are not too precious about fees
By way of example:
Three-month dry hire* for Robot: £3,000 per week
Three-month dry hire* for Sci-Fi Fashion: £1000
 *Dry hire is the cost of hire, excluding shipping and installation.
All exhibitions are available in two sizes and are fully flexible to suit your budget.
 
Can you adapt exhibitions to smaller spaces, e.g. remove sections or objects?
Of course, the layout and content are entirely flexible and can be arranged in any order, zone or theme.

Venue size: Is there a minimum size space you require?

Our exhibitions are modular, with each artefact having a footprint of approximately 500 x 500 mm and a height of no more than 2200 mm.

As a result, the exhibition can be accommodated in spaces of any size. That is, in smaller venues, the artefacts are simply grouped closer together.

Environmental Conditions

Beyond standard security considerations and routine checks, we have no other environmental conditions.

All robots are static and have no moving parts.

We assume the exhibition will use existing gallery lighting.

How does installation work?

Prior to shipping, we offer as convenient extras:

Case polishing, bubble-wrapping, and plinth repainting in your venue colour

ShippingMany of our clients arrange shipping. You’ll need a 3.5t box van with a tail lift and two men (including the driver) to load.

Alternatively, we can recommend a reliable, experienced and affordable shipper who has worked with us on many occasions. 

Instalation 

Our exhibitions are virtually plug-and-play; simply place each artefact (around 30 in each title) in the most suitable position within the gallery, adjust your lighting, and you are done. 

A two-person display team can install easily; our largely plug-and-play installation time is approximately 8 hours.

With a design and media studio at our disposal, we can help with room dressing if required.

We provide museum labels and artwork for output to your preferred method.

How long are the loans for?

Minimum rental fee is one month; however, as we also cater for 1 or 3 day events, effectively there is no minimum rental period.
Would we need specific insurance to host, or can it be covered under our GIS insurance?
This would be a question for your Insurers. Overall, our clients have added our exhibitions to the GIS.
Are we allowed to charge for entry to exhibitions or companion outreach events that relate to the exhibition?
On approval, yes

Marketing
Professionally designed, branded, empty-belly marketing assets: posters, flyers, social media posts, including customising if required

We offer an exhibition loan package that includes everything needed for a successful temporary exhibition, including:
Props in acrylic cases, Costumes supplied on mannequins where required.
Branded marketing assets for print and online.
Museum label artwork can include a Q.R. code that links to age-appropriate online public video trailers or movie clips.
Our studio can customise gallery interpretation showcards according to your specific branding guidelines.
Our exhibitions can easily be adapted to fit any size and type of venue or public space—rest assured, my team and I are always on hand to assist with installation if required.
We provide a guide PDF showing case dimensions, and with reference photos, gallery layout is a breeze.

What can be added to the hire?

We can also provide:
Non-branded promo or retail merchandise upon request.
Customisable promotional materials.
Colouring sheets or other educational workshop ideas and event ideas.
Bespoke, targeted marketing ideas for drop-in visitors, schools, education, special interest groups etc.
Custom graphic panels or immersive room dressing if required.
Custom environments from simple pop-up panels to full-size backdrops if you want to get more ambitious.
Augment our standard-issue exhibition with a parallel showing of two or three shows and additional content from our archive and private collections, or cut back content where the budget is tight.

Technical and operational requirements 
Most modern venues exceed our technical and operational requirements, which are minimal!
